Hoarding is not a crime

Hoarding can be a problem for many people. Over the last couple years that I have been hauling, I have looked into the mind of those who have hoarded items around the house until it became unmanageable. This is where the Junk-A-Haulics shine the brightest.  Using small talk to pick information about hoarding from our customers, I have noticed there are many different  reasons people decide to hang on to items in excess. From the outside looking in it may seem that hoarders just keep junk piled up here and there aimlessly, but a more in depth experience with a "hoarder" when its time to clean house will show you that each piece of junk holds its own unique purpose in this world.  The most common reason for hoarding junk I found, is usefulness of the item. This means that the person feels the item stored could be used for something in the future and instead of making the executive decision of tossing it and buying one later, they go the economic route and save it until needed. Which may or may not happen but every time the piece of junk is seen by the hoarder that's what pops into their head. The second most common reason is sentimental  value, meaning the junk item was given to them by someone they cherish or want that person to cross their mind when ever the item is seen.  The final reason I will share is the one that strikes me the most.  It is when a person feels that the junk item is too nice to just, take it to the dump, hoarders often feel like it would be a shame to just throw it away and unfortunately I too have become a hoarder. There is no reason to have three storage units full of junk if you think about it logically.  Or even fill your garage, work truck, friends house, or any other kind of space you run across with junk but I just can't bring myself to throw away a 47" LCD T.V.
or a beautiful plush leather reclining couch in perfect condition
or a Ethan Allen princess bed with canopy
or a denon turntable
or the a collection of playboys from the 60s including Marilyn Monroe's issue. I mean Hugh Hefner probably worked pretty hard on the first issue ever made

so you can look at me like I'm a weirdo, a scatterbrain, a trash collector but I gotta go with the hoarders on this one, they got the right idea.

Picking up where you left off

Junk-A-Haulics picked up where you left off. Our good friend Mark from Petaluma health care called us for a junk pick up sounding pretty distressed about the last hauler flaking on him. We went to check out the situation and what do you know it was a Nate Flake job. We gave Mark a killer deal for the removal of his junk and it was a beautiful day again in Santa Rosa.

Giving back to the community through recycling

Today we helped a guy from Colorado clear out his mothers home for a very affordable price. In the process we were able to donate a lot of cloths and nic naks to our local goodwill. While we were in the middle of that I helped a little old lady move a bed and a recliner to her new apartment in exchange for her prayers. Next thing you know I'll be holding a STOP sign helping little kids cross the street, Ay!

Now thats a forklift!

this is the easy way to do dump runs all I have to do is drive to our friends over at Daniel O Davis come back and collect the money. Maybe I should invest in one of these hmmmm..... These thirty foot boards make my truck look so tiny. It was a pretty gnarly wood load I had to have my buddy follow me down the street just incase something bad happened.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Today the Junk-A-Haulics teamed up with A Truck of all Trades to knock out a mountain of trash that was passed on through generations. It was so bad that we had to bring out the tractor on it. It made the day way easier to have the tractor. I have a feeling that a tractor has to be the next company vehicle. The job was actually a Nateflake job so it made it that much more enjoyable. For those of you who dont know what a Nateflake job is, it is when Nate baits a customer into booking a job by offering a super low price then simply never shows up.  So thanks Nate for flaking on the job your making us rich. lol

Chop it like its Hot | Hot tub removal

I had to drive on some treacherous road to day to chop a hot tub way out in the boonies. It was up a winding hill that went on forever. By the time I got to the top of the mountain I look down and all I can see is the top of some clouds. It was actually a sunny day but no one would be able to tell. I was eye to eye with some telephone lines and suddenly I realized I probably missed the right turn I was supposed to make on franz blvd. I had to make up some time so I removed the junk spa in under 15 min. Junk-A-Haulics offer hot tub removal starting at just $149 with dump fees included.  After watching this video it may seem like a piece of cake?! WRONG!!  I have removed over 130 hot tubs, spas, or jaccuzzi’s within the last two years so I have had a lot of practice. Try to beat my time if you can and when you realize its a lot of work call us at (707)217-3228
